Origin by Ocean harvests and processes sea and ocean grown biomass such as algae, bladder wrack and kelp. From this biomass we produce natural and biologically sustainable ingredients for use in the food, beverage, cosmetics and pharma industries.
Our vision is to create the Baltic Sea an algae-based business ecosystem in Finland. By doing this we create a new economic model that fights the eutrophication of the Baltic Sea in a commercially viable manner. Origin by Ocean is currently seeking funding for the development of neo-ecology biorefinery algae processing technology. Finland's first neo-ecology biorefinery algae processing plant is planned to be operational with full production capacity in 2025.
