Origin by Ocean processes sea and ocean grown biomass such as blue green algae, bladder wrack and kelp. From this biomass we produce natural and biologically sustainable ingredients for use in the food, beverage, cosmetics and pharma industries.
A better planet for all of us, thru sustainable use of forested and harvested marine biomass from our oceans.
We start by creating a Baltic Sea an algae-based business ecosystem in Finland. By doing this we create a new economic model that fights the eutrophication of the Baltic Sea in a commercially viable manner. Finland's first neo-ecology biorefinery algae processing plant is planned to be operational with full production capacity in 2026.
Cleaner water, cleaner oceans, cleaner life
We encourage each other to grow in knowledge, skill, teamwork, scope of responsibility and range of activities. We believe that Associates will exceed expectations when given the freedom to do so.

All decisions we make are measured against the sustainability checkpoint: That we create value by improving our habitat thru innovation and sustainable use of our planets biomass and other resources.
We are not assigned tasks; rather, we each make our own commitments and keep them.
The Global Challenge we solve

into our waters
Extensive blue-green algae blooms and concentrations
Contaminated drinking water
Loss of fish population and native seaweed
Health threats such as skin rash and allergies
Poisoning of birds and animals
Key business drivers
As much as 40 percent of the ocean is heavily affected by pollution, depleted fisheries, loss of coastal habitats and other human activities.
The rise of the vegan
The ocean absorbs about 30 percent of carbon dioxide produced by humans, buffering the impacts of global warming.
Globally, the market value of marine and coastal resources and industries is estimated at US$3 trillion per year, about 5 percent of global GDP.
